Job Description:

• As a Starbucks barista, you will create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly crafted products.
• You will work in an energetic store environment, mastering your food and beverage craft, working alongside friends, and meeting new people every day.
• A cup of coffee and a smile can go a long way. We believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customer's day.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan, and specialty beverages.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Cleaning service and seating areas.
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
• Servicing customers and taking orders.
• Ordering, receiving, and distributing stock supplies.
• Receiving and processing customer payments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving, and communication.
• Ability to make sound judgments and process information quickly.
• Proficient in computer and web-based software, adaptable to software changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow and give clear instructions.
