Description

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and creative Barista to join our team at the coffee shop inside Wabash General Hospital. The role involves preparing and serving coffee and specialty beverages with excellent customer service, and managing social media content to promote the coffee shop and engage with customers.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for customers.
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
• Restock inventory and monitor supply levels.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Social Media Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Promote daily specials, new menu items, and seasonal offerings.
• Take and edit photos of drinks, the shop, and events.
• Respond to customer comments and messages promptly and friendly.
• Collaborate with hospital marketing for brand consistency.

This position is located within a customer-focused environment at Remedies Cafe, offering the chance to brighten someone's day—whether healthcare worker, visitor, or patient family—one cup at a time.
