Job summary

Levy Restaurants at Snow Valley is seeking a Barista for a seasonal role. You will prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea, and educate guests on our drinks menu. The position requires weekend and holiday availability with compensation including wages and tips.

Starting at $19/hour with mandatory tip split. Previous barista or waitstaff experience and customer service skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Check guests' identification and ensure it meets the legal drinking age.

• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins.
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations with knowledge of the menu.
• Pay close attention to recipe details (coffee blends, dairy, sugar ratios).
• Keep venue clean and organized per company standards.
• Understand pricing at the venue.
• Assist in regular inventory counts.
• Restock and replenish venue inventory and supplies.
• Cash balancing/handling.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.

Mandatory Tip Split Position

We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including various types of Starbucks coffee and tea.

Barista responsibilities include educating the resorts guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates and troubleshoot equipment when necessary. You should also be able to work various shifts and be able to work during All Major Holidays and weekends. Note: this position’s compensation includes hourly wages and tips.

Responsibilities
