Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Barista to join Graduate by Hilton Charlottesville and its team of hospitality enthusiasts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
2. Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu.
3. Sells coffees and coffee equipment by explaining differences in beans and machines; demonstrating operation.
4. Prepares and sells coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques.
5. Maintains inventories by replenishing supplies and stocking equipment and pastries.
6. Keeps equipment operating through troubleshooting and maintenance.
7. Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation standards.
8. Improves quality by evaluating and redesigning processes, and maintaining store appearance.
9. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED.
