To thrive as a Seasonal Barista at Fox Powersports Grand Rapids, several key skills and abilities will set you up for success. Excellent customer service skills are paramount, as you will engage with customers, take orders, and handle inquiries with enthusiasm and respect. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn will help you quickly adapt to our fast-paced environment, where teamwork is crucial. Basic proficiency with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is essential, as you'll be responsible for ringing up transactions efficiently.

Familiarity with making café beverages is a plus, but fear not-on-site training will equip you with all the techniques needed. You'll also need to stay organized and detail-oriented to manage daily open and close procedures, as well as light clerical work. Flexibility is important, as you will typically work three days a week, with the potential for additional hours based on coverage needs.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Ringing up transactions at the café
• Daily open/close procedures
• Sell ORV/TRAIL/SNOW permits
• Light-duty clerical work

Experience with making café beverages is a plus but not required as we will offer training on-site. This position will be scheduled to work 3 days a week and may be open to additional time based on coverage
