Job summary

The Crescent Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Barista at Grand Bay Hotel San Francisco to deliver personalized beverage service and uphold our standards of excellence. You will engage guests, prepare beverages, and maintain a clean cafe environment, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Based in a hotel setting, you will work with a team to manage orders, stock, and beverages while ensuring accuracy, hospitality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage
• Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service Certifications
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Strong time-management skills; prioritizing tasks
• Willing to travel for business/training
• Bi-lingual ability is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication; grammar matters

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in proper uniform and ready to work
• Set up café and service areas per SOP; stock supplies
• Take orders, input into POS, and ensure accuracy
• Know menu details, dietary restrictions, and allergies
• Provide friendly, personalized guest interactions; use guest names
• Engage in suggestive selling and menu knowledge
• Prepare beverages per recipes; deliver to guests promptly
• Maintain clean, organized cafe and stations; manage inventory
• Complete side work and closing procedures as required
• Support other F&B outlets as needed
