Grand Bay Hotel San Francisco in Redwood City, CA is seeking a dedicated Barista to deliver personalized service and uphold our commitment to excellence. You will engage with guests, manage beverage preparation, and support daily café operations to create unforgettable moments for our guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in Food & Beverage
• Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service Certification(s)
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing tasks effectively
• Travel for business, training, and/or development
• Bi-lingual skills are an asset in this position
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication; grammar
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Elicit and accept constructive feedback

Responsabilités

• Arrives to work on time in proper uniform and ready to work.
• Set-up Café and service areas per procedures; stock supplies.
• Requisition beverage items from kitchen and storage.
• Prepare beverages following recipes; assist with smoothies.
• Greet guests by name and build rapport.
• Suggest alternatives and know menu details and allergies.
• Take orders and enter into POS accurately.
• Deliver orders to guests promptly.
• Ensure checks are accurate before payment.
• Handle payments and room numbers for hotel guests.
• Create and execute beverage specials and featured items.
• Maintain a clean, organized cafe and work area.
• Prepare requisition lists for next shift.
• Maintain inventory and low stock records for ordering.
• Complete side work and closing procedures per standards
• Inspect work areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Report incidents to Food & Beverage Management
• Support other F&B outlets as needed
