Job Description

As an Omni Hotels & Resorts / Starbucks Barista, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with the Starbucks guiding principles, as well as the Omni Trilogy Culture. Best of all, as a Starbucks Barista, you’ll be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work and the people here love what they do.

Pay Rate

$15.50 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Acting with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks, and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
2. Contributing to positive team environment by recognizing individual and team accomplishments using Omni Service Champion (OSC) cards.
3. Delivering legendary customer service to all guests by acting with a "guest comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer; Anticipating and responding to guests' needs.
4. Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including Omni policies and procedures for cash handling safety and security; Counting bank deposit at end of all assigned register shifts, and balancing house bank.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
6. Following all Omni Hotels & Resorts attendance and punctuality standards, as well as Omni / Starbucks uniform and appearance standards.
7. Providing quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards; Following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
8. Attending all monthly store meetings and training sessions.
9. Recognizing and embracing Starbucks’ commitment to environmental responsibility through recycling, ethical growing, conservation, and green planet practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and problem-solve quickly
• Ability to memorize a large amount of beverage recipes in an appropriate timely manner
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills, such as customer-service
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including working weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years or older
