Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA is hiring a Counter/Barista. You will take beverage orders, prepare espresso drinks, serve ice cream, and ensure guests have a positive experience.

This role requires at least six months of Counter/Barista experience, plus a valid WA Health Card and food handler permit. Owning a Class II/III gaming license is a plus; the site covers licenses. Competitive hourly pay plus discretionary bonuses twice a year and free meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months' experience as Counter/Barista.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a WA Class III B gaming license.
• Must have WA State Health Card / Food Handlers Permit.
• Ability to obtain Class 12/13 permits.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and recommend menu items.
• Operate espresso bar and prepare beverages.
• Prepare and serve ice cream orders.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through efficient, friendly service.
• Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
• Daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Maintain display cases and restock as needed.
• Communicate guest requests and inventory needs to management.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Operate an espresso bar machine and prepare beverages ranging from simple to elaborate drinks.
• Prepare and serve ice cream orders.
• Follow standards for display cases;maintains, cleans, and restocks as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by delivery of food andbeveragein an efficient and friendly manner.
• Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
• Reconciliation of daily “end of shift” financial transactions.
• Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishmentneedsand food spoilage.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• A minimum ofsix(6) months’ experience as a Counter/Baristaisrequired.
• Previouslead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Required to have and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be able tomaintainClass 12 permit and /or Class 13 Permitrequired
