Job summary

The Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Barista to join the Lobby Lounge on a part-time basis. You will greet guests, prepare coffee and espresso drinks, explain menu options, and maintain a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have up to one year of customer service experience. Barista training is provided, with shifts typically 3–4 days per week including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Up to one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Barista experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and identify their preferences.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, and other menu items.
• Explain menu offerings and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment with proper cleanliness and care.
• Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, inviting Lobby Lounge and service area.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
• Process guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with stocking, setup, and closing duties.
• Work with the team to create a memorable guest experience.
