Job summary

The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking an energetic Barista to join our team. This full-time role offers a fast-paced environment with variety and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing beverages, up-selling, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Prior hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year hospitality experience in Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous, efficient and welcoming entrance to the restaurant or bar.
• Greet and welcome guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide prompt, quality service by preparing beverages and serving guests in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Provide service to customers by suggesting beverages and upselling to premium products as appropriate.
• Maintain adequate levels of beverages and glassware and display beverages attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness of outlet at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of bar outlet inventory and respond to customer questions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing procedures.
• Adhere to laws and policies for beverage service.
• Handle cash, checks, and/or credit cards according to Radisson policies.
• Record accurate consumption at the end of each function and report to supervisor.
• Keep restaurant clean, assist with side work, and communicate with kitchen staff.
• Answer telephone according to standards.
• Polish silver and fold linens.
• Assist service team to meet and exceed guest expectations.
• Create 100% guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality and teamwork.
