Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a successful barista
• Cash handling experience
• Basic math and counting skills
• Supervisory or related role preferred
• Ability to follow recipes and work independently
• English communication and reading abilities
• Food handling certification as required

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas and beverages per brand standards
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards
• Train and guide staff in coffee/food prep, customer service, cash handling
• May schedule and delegate work; coordinate task completion
• Operate register/POS and handle transactions
• Balance cash drawer and deposits
• Adhere to cash handling policies
• Set up/breakdown coffee bar and maintain cleanliness
• Stock beverages, grab-and-go items, and condiments
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
