Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Barista Lead in Phoenix to deliver quality beverages, train Baristas, and uphold food safety. You’ll run the coffee bar, handle cash, and ensure fast, friendly service in a clean environment.

You will train team members, prepare drinks per brand standards, manage transactions, and help schedule tasks to keep the location running smoothly. This role emphasizes customer service and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Barista experience required.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Must follow required dress code.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Train and guide staff in coffee, food prep, customer service, and cash handling.
• May schedule and delegate work and coordinate tasks for the location.
• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits; complete cashier slip as needed.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar and stations; clean and sanitize.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
