Qualifications

• Experience as a barista and familiarity with beverage recipes.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Basic math and counting skills needed.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Must read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Train and guide staff in coffee and food prep, customer service, cash handling, product knowledge.
• May schedule and delegate work and coordinate tasks for the location.
• Operate register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar and stations, including cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverages, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
