Job summary

Java & Jam in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Barista to join a high-volume, downtown coffee shop. You will welcome guests, take orders, prepare coffee and cocktails, and collaborate with the team to maintain top service standards.

The role emphasizes friendly, efficient customer interactions, latte art, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required, with both full-time and part-time options. Located on Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or food service industry (e.g. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Barista experience and latte art is required.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Fun and outgoing attitude!
• Restock stations and keep them clean and organized.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Weekend availability is required
