Description

Joe Coffee is seeking curious and committed baristas in training (BITs) interested in learning about specialty coffee.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn about coffee and interested in becoming a "certified" barista for Joe. They must also have a strong desire to offer excellent customer service. Candidates should be reliable, friendly, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and team players.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour plus tips. Guaranteed $19 per hour.

Founded in 2003 by Jonathan Rubinstein, Joe Coffee started as a specialty coffee house in Manhattan's West Village with the goal of brewing high-quality, unique coffees and creating a welcoming community space.

Today, we have expanded to 20 cafes across New York and operate our own roastery in Long Island City. Our mission remains to serve excellent coffee with warm hospitality in every community we serve.

We believe that a great coffee experience depends equally on the coffee and the barista, which is why we invest in professional training and continued education for our baristas.
