Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista II at the Nebraska Medical Center location to craft hand-crafted beverages and foods. You will operate a cash register, ensure clean work areas, and support a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food service preferred.
• Sanitation and inventory control knowledge.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
