Hotel Polaris is seeking an exceptional Barista to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the success of Hotel Polaris, an instant icon on the hospitality landscape of Colorado Springs. Your efforts significantly influence the unique and distinctive experiences we seek to deliver to our guests and team members alike. Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and provide excellent customer service, taking orders, making quality beverages, and handling transactions.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages as per menu standards.
  • Share knowledge and recommend food & beverage options to guests.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and beverage quality.
  • Respond courteously and efficiently to guest and staff inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness and stock supplies daily.
  • Coordinate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing issues, proactively resolving them, and communicating with management.
  • Deliver authentic experiences with a customer-first attitude.
  • Maintain sanitation standards of the store and work environment.
  • Go above and beyond to resolve guest complaints and foster loyalty.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid work permit.
  • Valid Food Handler’s card required upon hire.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Ability to bend, squat, push, and pull regularly.
