Job summary

One Hotels & Resorts AG in New York City seeks a motivated Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in our cafe. You will prepare coffees, teas and smoothies for to-go and dine-in guests, engage with customers, and support the smooth operation of food and beverage service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has barista and table service experience with a strong guest-service mindset and a willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Barista and table service experience.
• Proficiency in serving beverages and food items.
• Strong guest service focus and engagement with guests.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• TIPS certification and food handler certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of coffees/teas/smoothies for to-go and seated guests.
• Provide exemplary service by applying knowledge of menus and engaging with guests.
• Execute all steps of food and beverage counter and table service.
• Maintain POS cash controls per company guidelines.
• Ensure standards are exceeded in guest welcome, orders, delivery, and table clearing.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
