Job summary

The Cloud One is looking for a dedicated server in our cafe in New York. You will prepare a wide variety of coffees, teas, and smoothies for to-go and seated guests while delivering exemplary service by applying knowledge of the menu and engaging with guests at every opportunity.

Responsibilities include executing all steps of counter and table service, maintaining POS cash controls, and ensuring standards exceed guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Barista and table service experience required.
• Strong guest service focus with ability to engage with guests.
• Punctual and flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of coffees/teas/smoothies for to-go and seated guests.
• Provide exemplary service by applying knowledge of menus and engaging with guests.
• Execute all steps of food and beverage counter and table service.
• Maintain POS cash controls per company guidelines.
• Ensure standards are exceeded in guest welcome, orders, delivery of food and beverage, and clearing tables.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Perform inventory counts as required by supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Execute daily pre- and post-shift checklists.
• Prepare all menu items as designed by the menu, including presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Monitor stock with inventory and supplies.
• Manage and stock inventory of kitchen ingredients and supplies.
• Label food items and store correctly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with Head Chef for kitchen operations.
• Wash dishes / take trash out.
