Java House Coffee Bar in Carmel, IN is seeking enthusiastic individuals for full-time and part-time positions. You will provide excellent customer service and educate customers about our coffee selections while managing the cash register in a fast-paced environment.

JAVA HOUSE COFFEE BAR
At Java House, we’re known for having amazingly smooth coffee, a great atmosphere, and excellent customer service. We’re growing from 3 to 6 stores this year and are looking for individuals with coffee experience whom want to work for an organization where upward mobility and growth is unlimited.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide an energetic and uplifting experience for all customers
• Educate and inform customers of differences between roasts, types of coffee, and other product
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Operate and manage cash register and card payment systems
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
• Openness to assisting the marketing team with local events, promotions, and the Java House van

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintain regular attendance
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards
• Engage with and understand our customers
• Comply with a dress code
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
