Java House Coffee Bar in Carmel, IN is seeking enthusiastic individuals for full-time and part-time positions. You will provide excellent customer service and educate customers about our coffee selections while managing the cash register in a fast-paced environment.

We offer an in-depth training program, discounts on coffee, and accrued PTO. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

JAVA HOUSE COFFEE BAR At Java House, we’re known for having amazingly smooth coffee, a great atmosphere, and excellent customer service. We’re growing from 3 to 6 stores this year and are looking for individuals with coffee experience who want to work for an organization where upward mobility and growth is unlimited.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide an energetic and uplifting experience for all customers
• Educate and inform customers of differences between roasts, types of coffee, and other product
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Operate and manage cash register and card payment systems
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
• Openness to assisting the marketing team with local events, promotions, and the Java House van

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain regular attendance
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards
• Engage with and understand our customers
• Comply with a dress code
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
