Job summary

El Encanto in Santa Barbara is seeking a passionate Barista to join our food and beverage team. You will deliver high-quality coffee and beverages, communicate effectively with team members, and enhance the guest experience through product quality in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare and/or serve beverages and foods to guests, ensuring consistency, proper portioning, and timely service while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, matcha, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure beverage quality, consistency, and proper portioning at all times
• Dial espresso grinders throughout service to maintain optimal espresso quality
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment in accordance with operational standards
• Follow all opening, closing, and side work procedures to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the coffee station
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas in compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Communicate effectively with servers and support staff to ensure timely beverage preparation and delivery to guests
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed throughout service
• Provide courteous, professional, and prompt service to guests and team members
• Assist with additional Food & Beverage duties and responsibilities as assigned
