Job summary

ARAMARK in Dallas is seeking a full-time Barista to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and handle orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences.

You will operate the register, greet customers, follow brand standards, keep the bar clean, stock items, and follow health and safety guidelines. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards
• Balance cash drawer and deposits
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar and clean/sanitize work areas
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
