Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Barista at Eurest Census in Suitland, MD. The role starts immediately and is a full-time position with a 6:00 am–2:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include making espresso drinks, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, compliant service area. The position requires customer service and barista/coffee experience; internal referrals are noted.

Qualifications

• Customer service and barista/coffee experience required.
• Ability to operate a POS and handle cash payments.
• Food handling according to HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction; relays concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
