Job Description for Barista at Eurest

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Barista positions at the Capital One Cafe, located at 5085 Westheimer Road, Suite B3726, Houston, TX 77056. Online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: Previous barista experience is preferred, but training will be provided. An internal employee referral bonus is available.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handling food according to HACCP standards. Interact with customers and staff in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and attractive.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly.
• Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve efficiently and prevent delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in selling and customer decision-making.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
