We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time BARISTA positions.

Location: Delray Medical Center - 5352 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL 33484. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days may vary, 6:00 am to 8:00 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handles food according to HACCP standards, and interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso and other beverage orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of the service area.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils.
6. Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
7. Keep display equipment clean and organized during service.
8. Clean equipment and workstation before leaving.
9. Greet customers courteously and address their concerns.
10. Serve customers efficiently and prevent delays.
11. Understand and explain menu items to customers.
12. Assist in selling by establishing good communication and aiding buying decisions.
13. Ensure attractive merchandising and neat serving of food.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
