We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time BARISTA positions at Monarch Bistro Delmar Gardens, located at 14767 North Outer Road Suite 1, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Weekdays, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior catering, barista, or customer service experience is required.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Pay Range: $19.50 to $22.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Follow HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interact with customers and team members in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into POS system; accept cash and credit payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies in the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Keep equipment, supplies, and utensils clean and organized.
• Assist in food preparation using approved recipes and standards.
• Maintain display equipment and serve food attractively and neatly.
• Greet customers courteously, ensuring satisfaction and relaying concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in upselling and promotional efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
