We are hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position.

Location: Pfizer Rocky Mount - 4285 North Wesleyan Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior barista, cash handling, and customer service experience required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food/beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP standards. Interact with customers and staff courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Keep display equipment clean and orderly.
• Clean equipment and workstation before leaving.
• Greet customers courteously and address concerns.
• Serve efficiently and prevent delays.
• Understand and explain menu items.
• Use selling techniques to assist customers.
• Merchandise display foods attractively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
