• We are hiring immediately for full-time BARISTA positions.
• Location: Starbucks - 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90263. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts with customers and employees courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, supplies; maintains cleanliness.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, utensils.
• Follows recipes and production standards for food prep.
• Keeps display equipment clean.
• Cleans workstations before leaving.
• Greet customers courteously; relay concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers efficiently, prevents delays.
• Explains menu items accurately.
• Uses selling techniques to assist customer decisions.
• Merchandises foods attractively and serves neatly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
