Job Title: Barista

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Barista position at Canteen.

Location: Mary Kay - 16251 Dallas Parkway, Addison, TX 75001. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. Days may vary; more details provided upon interview.

Requirements: Previous experience as a barista and in customer service is required.

Job Summary

Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP standards and interact courteously with customers and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS system; accept payments.
3. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
6. Follow approved recipes and standards for food preparation.
7. Keep display equipment clean during service.
8. Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation after use.
9. Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction; relay concerns to supervisors.
10. Serve customers efficiently, preventing delays.
11. Understand and explain menu items accurately.
12. Use selling techniques to assist customer decisions.
13. Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
