Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista II at Drake University. The role involves crafting hand-crafted beverages, serving customers, and handling cash at the point of sale on-site.

You will contribute to a clean, welcoming environment and support the team. Prior cafe/service experience is preferred; Starbucks certification may be required at some sites. This is a full-time position with varied shifts and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable with a focus on a safe working environment.
• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation or inventory control is preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and prepare beverages like coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea.
• Record sales, handle cash/credit payments, and operate a cash register.
• Clean coffee machines, prep areas, restrooms and dining spaces.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties as required by account needs.
