Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Scranton, PA is hiring for barista roles at Marywood University. We offer full-time and part-time schedules, with pay ranging from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted only.

Training will be provided to cover other food concepts as needed. Responsibilities include making coffee and espresso drinks, handling cash, serving customers, and maintaining HACCP-compliant food safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Prior Starbucks experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in coffee/espresso preparation is expected.
• Willingness to train on other food concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard recipes.
• Enter orders into the POS device and process payments.
• Replenish condiments and maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Follow HACCP standards for food handling and presentation.
• Greet customers and assist in fulfilling buying decisions.
• Ensure display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly.
