Job summary

Food City in Alabama is seeking a Starbucks-licensed team member to deliver prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming store environment. You will take orders, prepare drinks and food, stock products, and handle cash using the POS system while following recipes and safety standards.

Applicants with coffee or food service experience are welcome, but not required; emphasis is on reliability, teamwork, and a friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, oils.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products with quality and safety.
• Provide consistent beverages and foods per recipes and standards.
• Operate POS system and handle cash transactions.
• Engage customers with product information and suggestive selling.
• Maintain a clean, friendly environment and adhere to food safety procedures.
• Attend on-site shifts and follow attendance policies.
