Food City is seeking a Starbucks-licensed team member to provide prompt service and quality beverages in a fast-paced grocery store environment. You will prepare and serve beverages, assist customers, and maintain a clean, welcoming store area.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Take customer orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products.
• Operate cash register and POS system.
• Offer product information and suggestive selling while sampling products.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company recipes/presentation standards.
