Food City is seeking a Starbucks team member to deliver prompt service and quality beverages while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. You will handle customer orders, stock products, and operate the POS system with accuracy and friendliness.

Learning to mix coffee and tea offerings, understanding ingredients, and following recipes are essential. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and representing both Food City and Starbucks values on site.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience is a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Understand ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service and maintain clean, welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders, ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products.
• Rotate items to ensure quality and safety.
• Interact with customers, promote products, and use suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Process transactions using the POS system.
• Adhere to all recipe and presentation standards for beverages and foods.
• Demonstrate integrity and align with Food City and Starbucks values.
• Follow safety procedures and attend on-site shifts as scheduled.
