Job summary

Aramark in New York is hiring full-time Baristas to deliver great guest experiences. You will prepare specialty drinks, handle orders and payments, and support food service in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires prior customer service and cash handling experience, and a willingness to learn Aramark brand standards. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a global food service company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Barista experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet customers and assist with their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits; complete cashier slips as needed.
• Follow Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store; maintain sanitation.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
