Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of department products and respond with recommendations.
• Collaborate with associates to promote teamwork and meet store goals.
• Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards and handle transactions.
• Offer samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Use equipment (refrigerators, ovens, espresso machine, etc.) per guidelines.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow safety procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Work cooperatively in a high paced environment.
• Manage conflicts in a professional manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
