Job summary

Pink Pistachio Cafe is hiring a friendly Barista to welcome customers, take orders, and craft a variety of espresso-based drinks. You will ensure guests enjoy their time in the shop and experience high-quality beverages with careful attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Explain the menu items to customers.
• Create espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex.
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
