Job summary

Alfred in Los Angeles is seeking a Full-Time Barista to deliver an exceptional guest experience through hospitality, product quality, and efficient cafe operations. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and creating memorable customer experiences.

Prior cafe or restaurant experience is preferred but not required, and you will join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Wage: $18.67/hr + tips ($22.50 - $26.50/hr approximately).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and hospitality while delivering an elevated customer experience.
• Guide customers through beverage and food offerings, answer questions, and build rapport.
• Handle phone inquiries, process orders, and support mobile ordering.
• Maintain a calm, professional, welcoming presence during high-volume periods.
• Prepare high-quality beverages and food items in accordance with Alfred recipes and standards.
• Operate, clean, and maintain coffee equipment while keeping prep areas clean and sanitary.
• Develop knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and preparation methods.
• Foster a positive team environment through active listening and clear communication across shifts.
