• Prepare beverage selections to recipes and standards and complete transactions following company practices.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide fresh products ordered and maintain portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to customers to meet needs and preferences.
• Use equipment in the coffee shop (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) according to guidelines; prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review dates; take appropriate action when needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; report discrepancies to management.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report any items needing repair to management.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks; report theft or fraud.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and stressful environment; manage conflicts professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
