Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking friendly baristas who thrive in fast-paced environments and love delivering exceptional coffee and customer service. You’ll work both independently and with a team to create quality beverages, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a customer service role, preferably hospitality or coffee
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods
• Availability to meet cafe needs
• Part Time: 15-25 hours/week, 3 days; Full Time: 30-40 hours/week, 4-5 days
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
• Barista accreditation/training program
• Tenure-based PTO and sick time; 1.5x pay on select holidays

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with welcoming, engaging service and turn every customer into a regular
• Work with a world-class coffee program to prepare drinks
• Complete training to ensure safe food and beverage handling
• Monitor waste and adjust par levels during peak and off-peak periods
• Maintain Health Department standards at all times
• Know and follow product, service, and brand playbooks
• Collaborate with Operations and Marketing to drive foot traffic and sales
