Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Beverage/Bistro Associate to prepare, brew, and serve coffee and related products in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll ensure quality by monitoring dates and storage temperatures, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store.

Work includes friendly customer service, taking orders in person or by phone, and promoting sales through suggestive selling during nights, weekends, and holidays. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• 21 years or older to drive for Company business per policy.
• Six or more months of related experience or equivalent education required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Starbucks Barista Basics Training Program completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, brews, and serves coffee and other related products.
• Maintains stock levels and ensures product quality by monitoring dates and storage temperature.
• Adheres to quality control and food safety standards.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling.
• Stacks pallets and sorts product per company efficiency standards.
• Maintains a clean, safe, sanitary work and shopping environment.
• Provides friendly customer service by greeting customers and taking orders.
