Electric Hospitality in Atlanta is seeking a Barista to join the Muchacho Reynoldstown coffee bar. You will craft a variety of coffee beverages, operate espresso equipment, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

Ideal candidates have a passion for coffee, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, including evenings and weekends. Training provided and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a coffee shop is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing methods.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proper communication skills to connect effectively with co-workers and guests.
• Posess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and answering any questions about menu items.
• Operate equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing the coffee bar inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Stay current on coffee trends, products, and techniques to provide informed recommendations to guests.
• Assist with the preparation of food items, such as pastries and light snacks, if applicable.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Effectively communicate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
