Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Barista to deliver legendary customer service while preparing beverages and food to Starbucks standards. The role requires a strong team mindset, reliability, and the ability to thrive during busy periods.

You’ll ensure a clean, welcoming environment and engage guests with energy and enthusiasm. The position pays $15.00–$20.63 per hour with benefits options, including medical/dental/vision and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or within six months of start date.
• Must be eighteen years or older.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Must pass job interview including a guest service audition.
• Must complete BASSET and ServeSafe Sanitation training.
• Willing to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have or obtain an Illinois Gaming Act occupational license and stay in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares quality beverages and food items according to recipes and standards.
• Keeps workspace clean and organized for easy access to resources.
• Contributes to a positive team environment by addressing morale issues with supervisors.
• Delivers legendary customer service with a first-name attitude and connects with customers.
• Assists in new partner training by reinforcing performance.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by monitoring the environment.
• Remains calm during high volume or unusual events to uphold standards.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned.
