Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Barista to take orders, expedite coffee and related food items, and ensure accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves handling POS transactions, maintaining sanitation, following standard recipes, and preparing beverages with 100% accuracy. The position includes Freeman benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate production par levels of all food, drinks and general supplies in the Daily Grind.
• Enters orders accurately into the POS devise, accepts cash and charge payments. Ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Ensure all sanitization guidelines are followed and maintained during shift. Maintains safe work area & practices safe equipment usage.
• Prepares beverage orders for customers using standard measurements, recipes & drink codes, with 100% accuracy.
