Join the Barista - Campus role at Verve

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welcome and connect with every customer as a brand ambassador with positivity and enthusiasm.
2. Consistently provide quality beverages and food.
3. Maintain a clear knowledge of all inventory items and accurately communicate product information to customers by responding to questions, orders, and concerns.
4. Maintain a clean environment, including the back of house, bar areas, and patios, to ensure a healthy environment for customers and employees.
5. Contribute to store profitability by following Verve’s cash handling and register protocols.
6. Participate in training and development of new employees.
7. Work at different stations in the café as needed and assigned.
8. Follow all Verve policies, procedures, and processes.
9. Have a passion for coffee!

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred; coffee experience is a plus.
• Must maintain a current state-issued Food Handler Card.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Inclusive, respectful, and professional attitude; ability to work as part of a team.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Availability for part-time or full-time hours, including weekends and holidays; hours may fluctuate based on business needs.
