Chamonix Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek, CO is hiring a full-time Barista to craft coffees and pastries while delivering exceptional guest service. You will manage multiple quick-service counters, handle cash, and maintain clean stations with strict FIFO and allergen awareness.

The role requires passion for coffee, the ability to work calmly under high volume, and reliable attendance. Previous barista experience and basic math skills are preferred; a food handling license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm about coffee, tea, and drink preparation.
• Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
• Experience working under pressure and solving problems.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves authentic coffees, espressos, and other café drinks per guidelines.
• Serves and warms breads, pastries, and quick-serve items.
• Provides guests with product details and preparation methods.
• Keeps stations tidy, FIFO inventory tagging, and allergen separation.
• Operates cash register and POS; ensures cash accuracy.
• Maintains calm demeanor during peak times and flexible availability.
• Communicates with management and pastry department about sales, inventory, and orders.
• Maintains neat uniforms and wears nametag; gaming license if applicable.
• Performs daily cleaning, restocking, and side duties when idle.
