Job summary

Responsibilities

The Barista Associate performs all operations of a small coffee shop including cashiering, preparing drinks, serving ready-to-serve snack items, maintaining cleanliness and safety of the operation. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

The Barista Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

The Barista Associate reports to Food Service Operations Manager and Team Lead. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Uses chemicals for cleaning; may be exposed to very hot water and steam. Hazards and adverse working conditions are minimal if standard precautions are used when necessary.
