Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is hiring a Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and related beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. You will maintain a clean, welcoming cafe environment and ensure food safety and operating standards are met.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred, and weekend/early-morning shifts are common to meet guest demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the POS system.
• Recommend menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Monitor product quality and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory counts.
• Address guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
